Pods and Phyto arrived alive and cool. Reef labs i got last week was like warm. I must say they take more care packaging pods and phyto than most people do corals! Great job! If it wasn't for price my reoccurring orders would be with you not your competitor.
Hot weather got you miserable and hesitant on wanting to place your pod and phyto order? Wait no further. Order them now! Did you know, Dinkins packs for a 72 hour shippment, just in case the delivery is delayed by the carrier? It is 94° today when they arrived. While true, the containers were not cool to the touch, I did not need to shake the bottles to wakie wakie any lethargic pods. They may not have been actively training for the Olympics, but and to my suprize, they were definitely suspended. Not only that, the phyto was not overtly smelly either. Though I am not sure anyone enjooys the smell of phyto???

This is a company extremely dedicated to their customers .They deliveri excellent products backed by outstanding guarantees. In this age of impersonality David and his wife go out of their way to back up their claims of being the better company to do business with.

There honestly needs to be more stars to give? I feel great just isn't cutting it. Let's start from the beginning. Dinkins's communication from the get ho was awesome. They answered all my noob questions fast and efficiently. Shipping... where its not all that exciting its important to me and the critters. Well its clearly a priority to Dinkins. Fancy labels, ice pack, packing so things to move around and my favorite attention to detail. But what really takes the cake is the quality of their products. Im not making this up... my wife agreed to order from Dinkins because of the quality. Their phyto is the darkest greenest green you'll ever see. It smells so good, like the ocean. Yes I smelled it. Don't judge me.
Anyway, I cant recommend their products enough.

I have purchased from Dinkins multiple times and have a great experience every single time. I am also very dumb and mess up almost every order and they always work with me on trouble shooting or replacing. Fast shipping and fantastic quality. Their pods are always healthy, im pretty sure they can survive a nuclear bomb with how much I screw up with them and they still survive.
I was due to re-up my copepod population in my 90 gallon tank to make sure my wife doesn't shoot me for not keeping her favorite fish (Mando the mandarin) alive. I had been forgetting to order from [Brand X] and it was already Wednesday at noon. most places wouldn't ship that order until the following Monday. apparently not Dinkins! I dropped my order and got an email saying my order was confirmed at 2:34PM... and the estimated delivery was Friday. ain't no way, even just going from Flower Mound to Houston, that's still crazy.
anyway, so my box got delivered before I got home from work on Friday. still cool on the inside. Tisbe, Apocyclops, Tisbe pods and a bottle of Phyto.... all there, packaged beautifully, FAT pods in all the bottles, and a hand written note.
they will absolutely be my go to when I do my quarterly order
I just received my first order from Dinkins (Reef Snacklebox and Live Phyto). It arrived well-packaged and fully alive and well. They communicated well with me upon receipt of my order to discuss shipping timing with a major winter storm. I will definitely order from Dinkins again. I highly recommend others go here for pods and phyto for your reefs as well.
My order arrived today and I can't say enough about how well packaged it was.
It was shipped in its own real Styrofoam cooler, not the thin styrofoam sheets used by other companies. It had three reusable ice packs . The phytoplankton smelled heavenly ( IYKYK ) AND THE pods were plentiful and active. The quality and care of this company is amazing and the customer service superb.
I got my order today and always full of life. Makes a big difference in the health of my tank. If you’re not using it, why aren’t you? The best!

When I pleaced my order I asked for a Friday delivery and they arrived on time. Well packed with an ice pack inside a syrofoam cooler, inside a sturdy shipping carton. When I unpacked them, I can see the copepods zooming around.
I will wait until after lights out to add the copepods to my sytems - one bottle to the sump and one to the display tank. The phytoplankton will get dosed daily for the next few weeks.
My wife was surprised by my Penguin sticker and thank you note from Ashley and David. Exceptional customer service.

Always happy to receive a shipment from Dinkins. Ordered during the wee hours of Wednesday morning, they shipped that day, and I got an email from them letting me know it was delivered even before I saw it on the cameras. Arrived still cool and in great shape, phyto super dark green as always.
Dark green phytoplankton, visibly active pods, and some of the best handwriting I have ever seen (on the included thank you note/card); I look forward to continuing to purchase Dinkins products.
I put in a order as I have read great things about this family run business. I've have not had good experience in the past with on line orders with other businesses ordering copepods but let me tell you this. My pods look amazing! Shipped from Texas to Connecticut in 100 degree temperatures and this business did not disappoint. Box intact, pods in a styrofoam cooler, a nice card and some stickers. No way would I do business with anyone else after getting this shipment. Thank you so much for taking good care of the copepods to make sure they got here alive and well. My. Bought some phytoplankton for a breeding project and it arrived VERY quickly! They were even kind enough to include a hand written thank you card, which was so sweet. Well packaged, arrived only just at room temperature even in the summer heat. Gorgeous product. If my plan works out, I will definitely be coming back in the future!
Starting my first saltwater tank after freshwater, and decided wanted a mandarin down the road. So decided to start off and build a pod community. order from Dinkins but UPS delivered day plus late (late in day). Only few pods moving and everything warm - likely in truck for 12+hrs. Sent email to Dinkins at 9pm and they answered within an hr - no questions, sending me new order. Best customer service I have ever seen - frankly I thought my rock and phyto were ok, and willing to wait on pods to see how it went. But they wanted to make it right asap. Again deserved customer service. products looked great given day plus delay.
Dinkins was great they were very informative and I received my product quick and in great shape. The welcome card with the the stickers was a added bonus. Will definitely be using Dinkins from now on.
