Our Live Foods consist of incredibly dark live phytoplankton, lively copepod bottles, and detritus-busting amphipods. We also offer Refugium Boosters such as our nutrient-reducing Clean Chaeto and biodiversity-boosting Snacklerock. These products greatly enhance your reef tank's stability by supporting your microbiome.

We Ship for Survival
Buying copepods, phytoplankton, and other live products online can be stressful. Dinkins Aquatic Gardens understands this, and we take extreme care when planning, packing, and shipping your order.
The planning process begins when you pick your desired delivery date. We know you have a busy schedule, and there's nothing worse than expecting live products but having no idea when they'll be delivered. In the shopping cart, you'll have the option to select a delivery date that works best for your schedule.
Since we exclusively use two day UPS shipping, we'll begin preparing your order two days before your selected delivery date. The first thing we do on shipping day is check your weather so we know whether to include heat or ice packs. We'll add as much as needed - we don't believe in saving money by sending a single tiny ice pack!
We harvest all of our products fresh every morning and ship every order in biodegradable styrofoam boxes for maximum temperature protection. Once your shipping label is generated, you'll get an email with your tracking number and a reminder of your selected delivery date.
On the day UPS delivers your order, you'll receive an email to let you know that your products are out for delivery and giving you acclimation instructions.

Even the best planning and packaging sometimes can't overcome Murphy's Law. The true test of a company's customer service is the quality of their live delivery guarantee.
This is probably the most radical thing that we do at Dinkins Aquatic Gardens: we choose to trust our customers. We don't need pictures of damaged boxes or perished product. We're not going to ask a bunch of question or make you jump through hoops. If anything went wrong with your order, just contact us and we'll replace the damaged product(s).
One last thing - all replacements are totally free of charge. You won't pay a penny for the product, or the box, or this shipping. It's on us.
