I will be receiving my 4th recurring order today. This is by FAR the best and most concentrated phytoplankton I have used and I've tried a few. My tank and corals are looking so good since I've been adding phyto everyday and my flame scallop is thriving and happy. Not to mention everything is always packed so well and I get stickers and a handwritten thank you note with every delivery which is a such a nice personal touch that is rare these days. Thank you Dinkins!
What sets Dinkins apart the most is the attention to detail and incredible customer service. I had an issue with my package (related to the shipping carrier) and after reaching out, the team did not hesitate to provide me a comprehensive reply to troubleshoot the issue. At the end of it, I was offered a refund for the item that did not arrive as expected. This was really going above and beyond considering that it really was not the company's fault in the first place. Their copepod bottles are very concentrated and well worth the ecological / bio-boost they bring to any reef tank. I think they offer competitive pricing, especially with their subscription offerings. They also offer year-round discounts including the birthday discount and seasonal ones.
Ordered copepods and live phytoplankton for my tank, and everything arrived in great condition. The packaging was excellent, and the included instructions and messaging were a nice touch. Everything was still cold upon delivery and in good shape. I’ll definitely order from this company again whenever I need something they offer.

I live in South Florida, delivery trucks often reach extreme temps inside them, especiallylate in the day deliveries. Dinkin's no hassle DOA policy makes them a an easy choice because, there's no risk in my end of the purchase. Try them!
My order of snacklebox and snacklerock came LOADED with pods.... as an extremist it was very satisfying to see.
I can be quite picky with what goes into my reef and will say that i ordered the snacklerock because it appeared in the add to be very porous and would be a nice addition to my sump. Would be 5 stars if the snacklerock was the nice porous rock like pictured in the add instead of mostly smooth solid whatever this is. Will likely remove it later for something more efficient as I dont have room for things that are "almost as good as what I was looking for" in my reef.
I ordered the Snacklerock and am so happy with it! It arrived right on time, was wonderfully packed and is teeming with active copepods. They went above and beyond. So glad I found them at the recent Atlanta Coral Expo
Top of the line service and products. I’ve always been impressed with the visibility of pods in the jar, and the depth of green seen from the phyto. I just recently received a jar of chaeto, and all I can say is “wow.” Dinkin’s handful is fuller and more rich than the competitors. Delivery was delayed by UPS, and not a shred of chaeto was harmed. Pods and Phyto arrived alive and cool. Reef labs i got last week was like warm. I must say they take more care packaging pods and phyto than most people do corals! Great job! If it wasn't for price my reoccurring orders would be with you not your competitor.
Hot weather got you miserable and hesitant on wanting to place your pod and phyto order? Wait no further. Order them now! Did you know, Dinkins packs for a 72 hour shippment, just in case the delivery is delayed by the carrier? It is 94° today when they arrived. While true, the containers were not cool to the touch, I did not need to shake the bottles to wakie wakie any lethargic pods. They may not have been actively training for the Olympics, but and to my suprize, they were definitely suspended. Not only that, the phyto was not overtly smelly either. Though I am not sure anyone enjooys the smell of phyto???

There honestly needs to be more stars to give? I feel great just isn't cutting it. Let's start from the beginning. Dinkins's communication from the get ho was awesome. They answered all my noob questions fast and efficiently. Shipping... where its not all that exciting its important to me and the critters. Well its clearly a priority to Dinkins. Fancy labels, ice pack, packing so things to move around and my favorite attention to detail. But what really takes the cake is the quality of their products. Im not making this up... my wife agreed to order from Dinkins because of the quality. Their phyto is the darkest greenest green you'll ever see. It smells so good, like the ocean. Yes I smelled it. Don't judge me.
Anyway, I cant recommend their products enough.

I have purchased from Dinkins multiple times and have a great experience every single time. I am also very dumb and mess up almost every order and they always work with me on trouble shooting or replacing. Fast shipping and fantastic quality. Their pods are always healthy, im pretty sure they can survive a nuclear bomb with how much I screw up with them and they still survive.
I was due to re-up my copepod population in my 90 gallon tank to make sure my wife doesn't shoot me for not keeping her favorite fish (Mando the mandarin) alive. I had been forgetting to order from [Brand X] and it was already Wednesday at noon. most places wouldn't ship that order until the following Monday. apparently not Dinkins! I dropped my order and got an email saying my order was confirmed at 2:34PM... and the estimated delivery was Friday. ain't no way, even just going from Flower Mound to Houston, that's still crazy.
anyway, so my box got delivered before I got home from work on Friday. still cool on the inside. Tisbe, Apocyclops, Tisbe pods and a bottle of Phyto.... all there, packaged beautifully, FAT pods in all the bottles, and a hand written note.

I just received my first order from Dinkins (Reef Snacklebox and Live Phyto). It arrived well-packaged and fully alive and well. They communicated well with me upon receipt of my order to discuss shipping timing with a major winter storm. I will definitely order from Dinkins again. I highly recommend others go here for pods and phyto for your reefs as well.
My order arrived today and I can't say enough about how well packaged it was.
It was shipped in its own real Styrofoam cooler, not the thin styrofoam sheets used by other companies. It had three reusable ice packs . The phytoplankton smelled heavenly ( IYKYK ) AND THE pods were plentiful and active. The quality and care of this company is amazing and the customer service superb.
I got my order today and always full of life. Makes a big difference in the health of my tank. If you’re not using it, why aren’t you? The best!
